Made by a dad
Now my son asks for more TV time — to make stories.
I built Story Zapp! to get my 8-year-old reading. He says an idea, the TV turns it into a comic-book story he follows word by word, and he decides what happens next. Now his friends come over for story-making parties. I'm opening it to a few more families.

What changed at our house
He reads along
Every word lights up as the narrator says it. He follows without noticing he's reading.
It's his story
The idea is his, so he cares how it ends. That's what keeps him hooked.
Screen time that makes something
He's imagining, choosing and telling, not just watching.
Story-making parties
His friends come over to make stories together.
How it works
All with the TV remote. Made for kids around 8.

Say an idea
"A dragon who can't fly!" Or pick one of the story cards.

Watch it come alive
Each scene is drawn and read aloud, with a voice for every character.

Choose what happens next
Your kid decides the twist, so every story is new.
I'm a parent too
So I built it to be gentle.
- Stories are kind and funny. Scary ideas turn playful, and nobody gets hurt.
- No chat, no ads, no purchases, no accounts.
- Rude words are never repeated back
- Your child's name is never sent to the AI.
- You decide how many stories a day.
- The app can't open websites.
Will it work on my TV?
It runs on Android TV and Google TV. Not sure? It works if your TV has the Google Play Store.
- Xiaomi / Mi
- Sony
- TCL
- OnePlus
- Hisense
- Philips
- Chromecast with Google TV
- Samsung (not yet)
- LG (not yet)
- Fire TV (not yet)
Try it with your kids
